CAT Pattern Change - New Mock Schedule and Details

TestFunda ,  16-Sep-20
Dear Users

As you would be aware, CAT 2020 has changed the exam duration to 120 minutes from 180 minutes and sectional time limit to 40 minutes from the existing 60 minutes.

https://cdn.digialm.com//per/g01/pub/756/ASM/WebPortal/17/PDF/CAT_2020_MediaRelease.pdf

Prima facie, the number of questions per section is expected to go down, assuming no change in difficulty level and style of CAT. However, greater clarity on this is expected to be received by 20 September 2020.

Based on the above assumptions, we plan to re-release the mocks and sectionals as under:

Mocks:

iCAT No Current Status Action Release Date (Tentative) Mainly Benefits:
25 –16 Released Re-structure with same questions as per new pattern 23 Sep – 25 Sep Students who have bought but not yet attempted
15 –12 Released Replace with completely new test 23 Sep – 10 Oct All Students
11 –01 Unreleased Fresh release with new questions 10 Oct – 10 Nov All Students

Sectionals:

All Sectionals will be re-structured with the same questions as per the new pattern to give you sufficient practice. These will be made available by 30 Sep 2020

As a temporary measure:
  • All CAT Full Length mocks and CAT Sectional Tests have been temporarily disabled till 23 September.
  • Starting today, you get complimentary access for one week to
  1. CAT-Level Topic Tests (Arithmetic, RC, DI etc)
  2. CAT-Level Module Tests (QA, DILR, VA) for one week.
These can be accessed from:

We assure you that as soon as clarity is received, our mocks will be modified as soon as possible to reflect the new pattern. Also, depending on the changes, we will share the new release dates.

Please feel free to contact us at support@testfunda.com or 91-9769663737 for more clarifications.
