After Prince Atif proved to Jaffer that he was worthy of the princess, Jaffer finally told him where he held Princess
Laiba captive (Prince of Parzania - The Final Showdown). He told him that he would find her in a mansion on an
island in the Parzanian Sea. Prince Atif at once set off to rescue his bride with renewed vigor. However, when he reached the
island, he realised that it wasn't going to be as easy as he had thought.
Surrounding the mansion, there was a 10
metre wide moat that had been dug up (as shown in the figure). A vast expanse of land surrounded the moat on all sides.
Unfortunately, this catastrophe had taken place at a time when no modern inventions had yet been built. All he could use to
cross the moat was a foot-over bridge. But, his luck was so bad that it was possible to make foot-over bridges that were only
9.5 metres long. It was also not possible to join the ends of two bridges and make a new bridge as the bridge won't be
stable. Both ends of a bridge need to be well-supported.
