IIM A is in the process of reviewing the content of its major courses. One can expect significant changes by next year. In its endeavor to move forward the institute will follow a three-pronged approach of Connect, Nurture and Grow. Content of courses including courses like executive education, Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), post graduate programme in management (PGPM) etc is under review.

Apart from this the institute is also trying to connect with alumni and get them involved in the institute’s process of imparting knowledge. As a matter of fact around 20 full-time faculty members out of the total 92 members are from the alumni. 10 new faculty members joined IIM-A since September 2013. The institute has plans of increasing the faculty strength to 100 and eventually to 120 with growth in programmes.

Executive education courses contribute almost 18-20 % of the revenues and IIM A is looking at increasing it in the coming years.

IIMA also announced eleven management development programmes (MDP) for 2014-15. They are as listed below:

  • Designing Systems for Developing Internal Talent
  • Leadership Pipeline    
  • Psychological Assessment and Psycho- Metrics
  • Enhancing Service Quality in Healthcare
