The Xavier Aptitude Test is set to have some minor changes in the paper pattern. General Knowledge will be made part of the main test, unlike last year (when it was included as a separate paper). However, the marks secured in the GK section will not be considered during the assessment of the paper. They will be taken into account during the interview stage of the selection process.
The difficulty level of the questions will vary from easy to difficult, keeping in mind the various backgrounds of the applicants and the objective of the test. The duration of the main test (excluding essay) is also likely to be extended by approximately 20 minutes. The total duration of the entire test, however, remains unchanged at 3 hours.
The test will continue to be paper pen based, inspite of other exams going online since a long time ago.
