GCET-2010- Gujarat Common Entrance Test details,eligibilty, how to apply, important dates, GCET preparation material, important announcements

The Test will include objective type questions on English language skills, Quantitative aptitude, Analytical reasoning and General Knowledge questions.
Through GD & PI, student’s perception, personality and communication skills are tested.

Exam Format

In 2009, the Entrance Test had 150 multiple choice questions and the duration of the test was 2 hours. For the MBA entrance test, the number of questions from different sections were:

40 questions from English Language skill.
50 questions from Quantitative aptitude
30 questions from Analytic and logical reasoning
30 General knowledge questions.

How to Apply

Registration: For new registration, candidate has to print the Fee Challan link given on the registration website and go to any of the help centre. Bank counter will accept challan and fee there. By giving one stamped copy of the fee challan, candidate can get information brochure issued from the help centre, which comes with User – ID and Password.
Through this User – ID and password candidate has to complete the application form on the website www.gtu.ac.in. If Candidate is having difficulty to register online on his/her own, he/she can send email the address gcet@gtu.ac.in or contact the Central Control Room at GTU, Ahmedabad.
Registration Acknowledgement: Candidate has to report nearest Help Centre along with dully signed application form, acknowledgement slip and Xerox copy of required documents ( Final Year Degree mark sheet, H.S.C examination mark sheet, S.S.C mark sheet) to get registration acknowledgement slip.
