CATfunda Components

CATfunda is divided into Skill Builder and Test Centre. The courseware covers all the necessary concepts required to equip a student for writing CAT.

Skill Builder
In Skill Builder you learn and practice the skills required for CAT. It consists of lessons (Concept Builders) along with solved examples. Each lesson deals with one key concept in one of the three modules: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, and Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation. Each lesson is followed by a "Concept Practice" where you can try out your skills by solving practice problems. These problems come with detailed solutions. In addition, we have topic level and module level practice exercises with detailed solutions where you can further practice the skills you have learned.
    Skill Builder comprises of
    • 95 Concept Builders (lessons) with solved examples
    • 78 Concept Practice Tests with detailed solutions
    • 12 Topic Practice Tests with detailed solutions
    • 3 Module Practice Tests with detailed solutions

Test Centre
Test Centre helps you to practice and improve your test taking skills. Test Centre contains 28 full length CAT level tests - 16 iCATs (National Online Mock CATs), 4 Personalised Post-assessment Tests and 8 Customized Practice Tests. Each iCAT is followed by a Personalised Study Guide and Detailed Analysis Reports.

iCATs are National Level Online Mock CATs and give you a national percentile. iCATs take into account the changing patterns of the recent CAT papers and CAT questions. They also provide variety to prepare you for surprises that might be in store in the next CAT.

Personalised Study Guides: After you complete an iCAT, we analyze your performance in the test and recommend the most important weak concepts that you must work on. This takes into account both your performance and how important that concept is for CAT. A Study Guide is a personalised compendium of those Concept Builders and Concept Practices.

Personalised Post-assessment Tests: After every set of 4 iCATs we analyze your performance in those tests and derive the list of concepts that you need further practice on. We then create a full length Post Assessment Test with new questions that are especially picked up for your weak areas. These questions will go from easy to difficult to allow you to build confidence in your weak areas.

Customized Practice Tests: After every set of 4 iCATs We give you two new full length tests to give you further practice. These tests are personalised on the basis of your performance.
